I am a Nashville-based illustrator and fine artist with over 15 years of professional experience, shaped primarily within the European art scene. My work is grounded in rigorous draftsmanship and a strong foundation in traditional drawing, combining the tactile, organic qualities of graphite and ink with the clarity and precision of digital workflows.
Throughout my career in Spain, my practice developed within the field of contemporary figuration. As a founding member of the Figuración XXI group and a selected artist for the International Painting Award Figurativas (Barcelona), I established a visual language centered on atmosphere, conceptual depth, and visual coherence—principles that now inform my approach to illustration and visual storytelling.
I specialize in long-form narrative illustration and concept-driven projects for books, editorial, and extended visual series that require continuity, structure, and a consistent visual identity. My work focuses on sequencing, rhythm, and emotional consistency across images, ensuring that each illustration functions both independently and as part of a cohesive whole.
Alongside my studio practice, I have dedicated much of my career to the study and teaching of art. After years of directing my art academy and teaching in city-affiliated programs in Europe, I currently work as an Art Instructor at the Frist Art Museum in Nashville, TN. This ongoing engagement with art history, technique, and pedagogy brings clarity, structure, and intention to every professional collaboration.
I approach each project with a veteran’s eye and a teacher’s mindset—balancing intuition with structure—to deliver illustrations that are visually compelling, conceptually grounded, and tailored to the needs of each project.
